Welcome to the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering Government Engineering College, Sheohar. It was established in 2019 with an intake of 60 students. The department has good infrastructure with a spacious classroom, digital classroom, well-equipped laboratories, staff room, and HOD chamber.

The department is strengthened by highly qualified, experienced, dynamic faculty members and non-teaching staff. The faculty members are experts in many fields such as RF and Microwave circuits, antenna design, Wireless sensor networks, Wireless communication, Microelectronics, Internet of Things  (IoT), VLSI design so on.

Faculty and student members are active members of Professional bodies like the electronics club, Domain Skilling, Kushal Yuva Programme (KYP), etc. Students are provided with various opportunities to develop and exhibit their talents through various initiatives taken by colleges and universities such as startup cells, and quiz competitions organized on regular basis. The department encourages the students to improve their techno-management skills through extra-curricular activities.
